Why this Portal?

Data is generally considered to be a thing that is not easy to comprehend. Budget data, for example, is presented in a way in budget books that a person not having the relevant technical expertise cannot understand. I-SAPS Education data portal is part of the wider initiative of I-SAPS to generate demand and stimulate policy response by presenting education data in a much more interesting and easy to understand manner.

Institute of Social and Policy Sciences (I-SAPS), with its aim to inform policies and reform practices, has shouldered the concept of providing first-hand information about the trends and priorities undertaken by the Federal and provincial governments in Pakistan with respect to the education sector.

Numerous articles, blogs, videos, infographics on education and related topics are also part of this portal with a purpose to present insights that emerge out of the data.
